• AAPC Certified Professional Coder review of CPT and ICD9 codes including periodic coding audits
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and compliance with all government regulations
• Create and sustain a consistent flow of information from physician practices
• Audits as needed for missing patient information and charges
• Electronic Claims Submission, Patient Statements, Electronic Remittance Advice and Electronic Funds Transfer including postage
• Intensive payer and patient follow up for quick accounts receivable resolution
• Monthly and on demand reporting of collection performance, practice trends and payer reimbursement
• Credentialing for new and ongoing certifications with government payers, managed care plans, payer networks and hospital privileges
• Physician education regarding payer changes and developments within practice specialties
• Online patient access for notification of informational and insurance changes
• Online physician access to accounts receivable reports, financial reports and payer updates
• Review/modify fee schedules to keep current with industry standards
